Back in September 2016, Amazon launched its own photo printing service, instantly sinking Shutterfly stock by undercutting competitors’ prices. Now, to celebrate the new year, Amazon is offering a crazy 75% off coupon code to cut its already industry-low prices.
The coupon code is: NEWYEAR. It can be applied to photo prints, photo books, cards, and calendars.
Right now, Amazon charges just 9¢ for 4×6 prints, 58¢ for 5×7 prints, and $1.79 for 8×10 prints. With 75% off, that becomes 2.25¢ for 4×6 prints, 14.5¢ for 5×7 prints, and 44.75¢ for 8×10 prints.
Using the coupon code, an 8×11 hardcover photo book’s starting price drops from $20 to $5.
We tried the coupon code out with an order of 100 4×6 prints, which ordinarily costs $9. The code dropped the total cost down to $2.44, a savings of $6.75.
