San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) is in full swing and there’s certainly been plenty for game and comic book afficianardos to get excited about. MARVEL has brought several exciting things to the table, including teasers for new Netflix TV series and updates to film projects such as Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, Spiderman: Homecoming and Doctor Strange. Despite this, it is their big rivals at DC Comics who might well win the batle, with new information about upcoming movie Suicide Squad and dropping the first trailers for both Wonder Woman and Justice League amongst other news.

It is with the first of these three films that we are concerned, however. Just over a week ago on VRFocus we brought you news DC and Warner Bros. Pictures would be bringing an exclusive piece of Suicide Squad virtual reality (VR) content to SDCC. The VR experience transports fans into the world of Suicide Squad, specifically into one of the fight sequences and allowing you to join and even be for a short time the likes of Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Killer Croc. The DC Entertainment YouTube channel has brought us some new information about how exactly the footage was captured, including the use of the of the film’s body doubles, a specially constructed camera harness and the troubles of trying to cope with it for the performers.
