Psytec Games has today dropped the price of virtual reality (VR) title, Crystal Rift. Available now via Oculus Home and Steam, Crystal Rift is a first-person dungeon crawler playable with or without a VR head-mounted display (HMD).

UK developer Psytec Games is a keen supporter of VR, with Crystal Rift accompanied by Windlands as early launch window titles for both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Speaking of the reduction in price for Crystal Rift, Psytec Games’ Jon Hibbins offered: “Crystal Rift is an awesome VR Dungeon Crawler. While it doesn’t have the wide appeal of our other game Windlands, feedback has been great and lots of people love it, we are very proud of our first VR game: its a ghost train of fun that lasts about 10 hours.

“We recently changed the price to make Crystal Rift an easier purchase decision so more people can meet the dragon on level 11 and see the awesome twist at level 22! It’s incredible value for money, especially as it comes with an editor to make and share your own dungeons, too!”

Crystal Rift originally launched alongside the Oculus Rift one month ago. The videogame is now available via Steam and Oculus Home for $9.99 USD, a significant drop from its original price of $14.99.
