When it comes to dedicated virtual reality (VR) events the majority are usually in the US with some dotted around Europe as well. Canada has seen very little VR events taking place and earlier this month VRFocus reported on Archiact Interactive launching a new consumer focused show that’ll take place in May.

The Consumer VR Conference (CVR) will be held on 14th May, in Vancouver at the city’s convention centre. Exhibitors confirmed for the event include The Gallery developer Cloudhead Games; White Door Games with its title Dreadhalls; Peter Fisher with his Samsung Gear VR title Cityscape Repairman and mobile VR input solutions maker Ximmerse to name a few. Some the major head-mounted displays (HMDs) will be represented, with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Gear VR all available for demonstration.

Today sees the final availability of CVR’s early bird ticket prices, with these discounts only lasting for a few more hours. If you still want to go and have to pay for a standard admission ticket VRFocus does have a discount code to knock some money off. Enter the code VRFOCUSFULL to receive your discount.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of CVR, reporting back any further announcements.
