Coming Up On VRTV #1: Pixel Ripped, Esper 2 & A Legendary Cardboard

It was only two weeks ago that VRFocus was thrilled to launch VRTV, the first tech and entertainment show focused exclusively virtual reality (VR). Our teaser, Episode 0, received a pretty healthy amount of attention from our audience. This was great for the initial launch, but VRFocus is always aiming to broaden its followers, especially as VR grows, so we can’t wait to deliver Episode 1. The newest instalment will of course set the ground rules and grammar of the overall show, with news, competitions, and interviews with established and indie developers alike.

The main bulk of the show will be split into two interviews, and over episodes to come VRTV will have a wide range of industry figures on air. Our first two guests of the show will be 3D Artist and Producer of Pixel Ripped, Stef Keegan, and Community Manager for UK-based developer Coatsink, Daley Johnson. Keegan will be talking about what the indie video game is all about, the motivations behind the vivid art style, and discussing the overall development of it. Johnson will be talking about the sequel to Esper, Coatsink’s Esper 2, and has given us an exclusive, never before seen video featuring voice actors from the newest title.

We also asked you to take to Twitter to enter yourself into our Legendary Google Cardboard giveaway by tweeting me, @ZeenaVRFocus, who you want to see potentially featuring at some point on the show as a guest. The winner will be announced on the show, and VRTV will have another prize up for grabs which we are sure you will all get very excited about. One thing to note – make sure if you have entered the giveaway that we can get in contact with you. Keep an eye on your messages!

Episode 1 will be released 3pm GMT on Thursday 25th February 2016 and will be posted on VRFocus, so don’t miss out on all we have in store.
