I went on an impromptu trike ride with friends on a trail along the Columbia River yesterday. The weather was a bit drizzly but it’s always beautiful in the Columbia Gorge. I decided to take a new camera, the Insta360 One X, to try out and it is absolutely amazing.

I’ll be doing another video for this ride but I wanted to show just one clip and some of the interesting angles you can get. There are no cuts or edits to this clip. All I did was, with the included Insta Studio software, decide what direction I wanted the viewer to look.

Maybe you have more ideas for how to use this camera? Let me know what you think.

Thanks for watching!

This channel is about all things trikes and travel. I have been riding a trike for 14 years and have been touring for over 12 years, all over the world. I have toured on 6 continents, in over 20 countries and cycled more than 50,000 miles.

On this channel I talk about what gear works and doesn’t work, offer tips and review products as well as have tutorials. Mostly, I produce short travelogue type videos of my tours as I go. I travel with a Panasonic ZS200 travel zoom point and shoot, video camera on a gimbal (Removu K1), Mavic Air drone, and, of course, a mobile phone. Thanks for subscribing and following along!

I also have an extensive journal on Blogger that goes into much more detail about the area and the emotional ups and down. The blog has a link to Garmin stats and a map of every day’s ride. There are also a ton of pictures. You can find it following this link:
