There are a handful of well-known videogame publishers that are already working with virtual reality (VR) technology. Among them is Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter publisher, Capcom. In fact, the company has been showcasing its first experiments with the technology throughout 2015 in the Kitchen tech demo for the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4. This horror experience has been making the rounds at several industry events, and this week Capcom has teased some more reactions to its scares.

Capcom UK has posted a new Vine, seen below, showing three people’s reactions to the demo. As can be seen, the piece clearly provides a few scares that are made all the more effective through the power of VR. It’s not yet clear if Capcom will be expanding on this demo for a possible consumer release at this point in time.

What is clear is that Capcom is very interested in VR itself. The company recently announced that its Resident Evil team was working with the technology.

VRFocus will continue to follow Capcom’s work in VR closely, reporting back with the latest updates on its progress.
