Capcom has wasted precious little time beginning their work in virtual reality (VR), with their debut experience on PlayStation VR, the Kitchen technical demonstration, being shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) back in 2014. Since then, the company has announced a dedicated VR development team and now an adaptation of their biggest videogame franchise: Resident Evil.

Resident Evil: Bio Terror is an out-of-home VR experience that will debut at Hub-Zero, a theme park located in Dubai. The first VR edition of the beloved survival horror franchise will more closely resemble the arcade cabinet and Wii outings, such as Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. A number of other videogame franchises will also be making their way to Hub-Zero, though these are yet to be confirmed.

The announcement came from the Convention of Middle East Film & Comic Con, Dubai, today. It was Hub-Zero who made the announcement and Capcom itself is yet to comment. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Resident Evil: Bio Terror.
