BMW M135i driving on a hot run on the Wuerzjoch in South Tyrol (Italy)

The Wuerzjoch (Ladin: Ju de Börz; Italian: Passo delle Erbe) is a 1982 m s.l.m. high mountain pass in the South Tyrolean Dolomites (Italy), where three valleys meet. From the west the Afer valley rises to the Würzjoch, from the north the Lüsner valley and from the east the Untermoital.

The climb is 15 km long and rises 744 meters, with a maximum gradient of 15%. Shortly after St. Martin, the road becomes very steep with 15%. The following five hairpin bends are still 10% steep. Halfway the road leads 100 meters downhill to Untermoi, from where the road rises steeply over a serpentine with a gradient of more than 15%. As soon as you come out of the forest, the road leads fairly evenly with 10% up to the Würzjoch.
