Those that follow VRFocus‘ ‘New to VR’ series may have this week seen our entry for Floating Euphoria, a therapeutic virtual reality (VR) experience from the team at Altered Scapes. The title can currently be sampled over on the Oculus Share software portal for use with the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), while Altered Scapes is also running an IndieGoGo crowd-funding campaign to have it and other such experiences a full scale production. Now a new look at the experience has arrived in video form, and can be seen below.

This 4-minute video provides an in-depth look at Floating Euphoria‘s surreal environments, which players will explore by boat. The experience is intended to be a relaxing one, something that a number of VR developers are exploring right now.

Altered Scape is hoping to raise $30,000,000 USD to make its projects a reality. The campaign currently has 25 days left, so the developer has plenty of time to reach this goal, though has a lot of ground to cover still. Beta Access to Floating Euphoria is available for $50. VRFocus will continue to follow Floating Euphoria and Altered Scape’s other work in VR closely, reporting back with the latest updates.
