Among the 30 launch titles for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) arriving today, ADR1FT has to be one of the most anticipated. Three One Zero’s story-based space survival title has been a long time coming, but finally releases in both VR and non-VR formats today. VRFocus recently caught up with the developer’s Adam Orth to talk about the title.
In the interview below, Orth talks about ADR1FT‘s story, and what research went into creating the experience. He also discusses balancing the weightlessness of the title. ADR1FT will also be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the near future as well as unannounced VR platforms.
