The future is exciting for mobile photography. Adobe just released this sneak peek that shows off some amazing features powered by Adobe Sensei, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to do edits on photos.

“Great portrait photography requires the right perspective, equipment, and editing expertise,” says Adobe. “But what if we can tap into the power of artificial intelligence and deep learning to transform bad portrait shots into good ones – all on a smartphone?”

Here are some things the future may hold for making portraits look “pro” using only your phone:

Perspective Effect Editing

With a swipe, you can adjust the face to make it look like it was shot from a different distance or perspective with the same framing:

Automatic Portrait Masking

The software can automatically isolate subjects from backgrounds to help you blur the background for the look of a shallower depth of field.

Portrait Style Transfer

With just a few taps, you can give your portrait the look and feel of any other photo.

No word yet on if or when we may see these features show up in an Adobe app.
