Couple of fun facts about this video.
• It took me 20 days to prepare this video.
• The footage I shot with this camera took 457GB of space.
• The stitching process took 24hrs to finish
• Stitched files took 284GB of space.
• Stitched files needed to be converted into 422 ProRes before I can edit them in Final Cut.
• Converting files to ProRes took another 24hrs.
• ProRes files consumed 1.89TB!
• Transcoding files to Proxy so that I can edit the video took 12hrs.
• I had to put laptop fans over external hard drives to cool them down. (See my twitter)
• Editing the video took me a whole day.
• The file uploaded to YouTube is 104GB (YouTube’s upload limit is 125gb)
• Injecting 3D metadata to 104GB file took 2-3 hours.
• Uploading the video to YouTube took 12 hours (30mb/s upload)
• YouTube’s processing took 2-3 hours.
• I was extremely stressed driving around with the camera outside of my car.
• There is something going on almost in every scene in this video, don’t rush, don’t get dizzy. I arranged the video in a way that while you watch the review screen, the background will rotate around you
